Role Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious early-career professional looking to build their accounting career within a dynamic and expanding group, offering exposure across multiple business units. The successful applicant will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and posting of invoices in accounting system;
• Prepare and process payments to suppliers;
• Liaise with vendors and preparing vendor reconciliations;
• Debtor reconciliations and maintaining the debtors ledger;
• Input bank entries;
• Maintaining accounting documents and records;
• General Ledger postings;
• Prepare cashbook and bank reconciliations;
• Assist with month end related tasks;
• File documents;
• Performing any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the finance department.

Skill-sets, Requirements & Qualifications:

• Able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision;
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Highly motivated with good time management skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Experienced in using MS Office Software, particularly Excel;
• Preferably have a working knowledge of computerised accounting systems, such as Sage;
• Being open to learning new computerised systems;
• Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset, however, full training will be provided.
