SALV Rentals, a business unit operating within SALV Group, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join its growing team within the property rentals sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s rental properties, ensuring that all facilities are safe, fully functional, and maintained to a high standard. This role plays a key part in supporting operational efficiency and delivering a positive experience across the property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor electrical repairs and installations.
  • Perform minor plumbing works and general maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out painting and basic plastering works as required.
  • Conduct general repairs and furniture installations.
  • Respond to and complete emergency repairs within assigned properties.
  • Identify and report preventative maintenance requirements to the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment when necessary while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping during and after maintenance works.
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

  • Electrical Qualification
  • Valid Maltese driving licence.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance works will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
